Ebay stealth account ?'sss
 

Hello folks,
I'm a newbie on here. Just a couple of ?'s . 1. I bought a stealth UK Ebay seller account, and am wondering if it is possibe to change the password and address on the PayPal account without arousing too much attention.

The address will be that of a relative who has never used either ebay or paypal. I have a new bank account attached to the account not associated with my previous suspended account on ebay. If I get a return from a customer it makes it easier for me to sort out this way, as I have access to this address. Also what advice can you give to listing stuff for sale, it will be generic (second hand). I have had the account just 7 days. Thanks in advance - Marion

I pretty much always add a returns address and delivery address to stealth accounts, if its a business account the address needs to be accessible for the NEW ebay managed returns that role out in a week or so.

change address after a month or so not now
sell secondhand stuff to get feedback
no vero or mobile phones
buy a few giffgaff sims at 6p to get feedback dont go over 20

Be careful changing addresses and even passwords to start with, space those actions out and leave the address until last!

I personally dont like the SIM card idea, especially the '20' figure that has been mentioned, may arouse suspicion of feedback manipulation. Tread carefully.

Hello again peeps!

Thanks for the advice! Bit confused tho, if it is unadvisable to change my address for 30 after have started up the stealth account I bought. Then if I buy anything like the Sim Card idea, wont they just sail away to the address that's on the stealth account I bought (obviously not mine) , which going on advice received here I should not change for approx 30 days? Thanks

Don't change the registered address. Add your accessible address as a delivery / returns address.

Hi thanks for the advice. However, will not ebay see the returns address if I add it to my ebay account? Or did you mean add a return address to whatever I sell on ebay. Also, as to getting a feedback score at the start, If I buy something within the first 30 days of this new stealth account, do I send the seller a message asking for it to be sent to my real address or my relatives address. I thought that sellers were only allowed to send to the registered address on paypal/ebay account. Please excuse my ignorance in these 'stealth' matters. Thank You - Marion:noidea::noidea:

My eBay (top bar)
Account tab (under username/feedback)
Addresses (left hand menu)

Add your relatives address under the primary return address.

Under the same section, you can add your relatives address for the primary postage address. You would do this if you wanted your goods delivered to work, so it should work out fine as long as the address isn't connected to you or any other banned account.
