Selling on eBay US and Canada from the UK

So I'm thinking of bulk editing my listings to sell on eBay US and Canada, I already ship a few items that way anyway so I don't think there is any harm in it.

Has anyone else in the UK tried this and have you founds it's got you many more sales? Anything I should watch out for at all?

I have it on most listings

You need to make sure the buyer is aware of import charges.

The one issue I have with sending items over seas is that I find the 'INR' rate is higher than domestic 'INR' rates.

Thanks for the advice, I already notice I get more INR on international sales as it is but most of them are for African and middle eastern countries that I really shouldn't be sending to.

Do you send your international items tracked at all? This is something I don't currently do.

It depends on the value of the item.

If its over £40 generally I will send it tracked, and pass the extra cost onto he buyer.

Anything under £40 I will not send tracked unless its on my list of 'countries that like to file an INR cases', in which case anything over £25 I will send tracked and again, pass the cost onto the buyer.
