Why was my bank account removed from my PayPal account?

A bank account can be removed from a PayPal account by the bank. This can happen if an attempted PayPal payment using that bank account is denied by the bank.

Did PP try to take funds from the bank account via a DD?

yes they did so is this account stuffed i mean Tesco saver account?

That will be why the bank account was removed then.

You can just phone up PP to have them manually re-add the bank account. Usually can be done without a problem. Need to be careful to not let it happen again.

Give it a go, but usually when a bank account has been removed it has to be re-added manually by PayPal over the phone.

Not easily these days.

May run into issues when you try.

Probabily better to let paypal do it.

Can you consider another type of account, ie basic?
