all of the major mobile phone company sims let u receive calls and texts without topping up.

some of them 3rd party piggy back companies make you topup first so forget them.

james isnt it a bit risky ordering from vadafone site and ordering free sims time after time.

is there any risk. i have ordered 2 sim 2 weeks ago this week 2, and think i get more is there any risk

Its hardly illegal.

I ordered 12 about a month ago. No issues.

Try to rotate delivery addresses though, otherwise eventually after 30+ sim cards they will stop sending sims out for free.

I use orange, always worked without topup and registration even when i lived abroad.

James do you know how long the number lass without topping up at all? I use vodafone myself but it seems to ask for a £10 top up to 'activate'. Although it does receive calls,I assume its only for a short period?

As of last year if the Vodafone phone number has had no activity on it for 6 months the number will get recycled. The period of time may have lengthened or shorted since. If you give them a ring they should be able to tell you
