Paypal from 2 hours to 24 hours should i be worried

I dont think so, it changes all the time for me also. Although when ive had a customer claim in the past it has jumped to 72 hours.

Also this time can change within seconds, go to make a withdrawal and when you get the text saying 24 hours, clicl back on the browser and try a smaller amount and it can change to 2 hours

Happens from time to time.

If you do withdraw and it says it will take upto 24 hours to hit your account, I would wait for the 24 hours to pass before withdrawing again. Generally it will have gone back to 2 hours.

Wait patiently and report back - should be fine. Follow James' advice.

Yes they are playing silly buggers again, had it on one of my accounts, and i received another notification later saying funds would be available in 2hrs, and have just been told on a 13yr old account that it will now take upto 24hrs, they must be playing the money markets.

The lord paypal is coming to the end of what ever calender their accountant uses to cook the books, or to make them look more than they are by having so much in their bank account.

Sometimes this happens with paypal even if you have been withdrawing that takes 2 hours, they sometimes do 24 hours now. But it will be in your bank accout

I had a new stealth which apart from the first 2 withdrawals has been always 2 hours for last few months....then suddenly last week a 24 hour came up. Money still went in fine, but maybe it is just extra security over the crimbo period?

PP UK has been causing quite a few issues for people all over right now - if it's only 24 hours that you must wait, probably best to just wait and be happy that account is still alive

I'm having the same issue. Use to be 2 hours for like 2 months. Now 24 hours all the time .

But it might be because somebody opened a case on paypal 3 weeks ago.

Oh course I don't mind waiting, just pointing out to the OP that these events are pretty standard at the moment with pp. As unless you are doing something 'dodgy' and need to get cash instantly out then there is no need to panic as the money still goes through. At least from my own experience.

Just noticed this thread was randomly bumped today after 4 months. Still kinda relevent though with regards the extra security being seen over this festive period with the holds.
