Re: wrong flavour whey

So you sent the wrong item to someone, and now your playing hard ball about refunding them there postage costs to send it back to you?

You really need us to answer this for you....? I reckon if you really think about it you can work this one out yourself.

Agreed, you need to think more about your customer service skills.

YES, you pay return shipping if it's your mistake by all means, if you want it back.

If it was me, I would try and work out something with the buyer. Maybe a 50% refund and they keep the item.

People love getting stuff for half price. :)

Re: wrong flavour whey

Or, tell the buyer to keep the wrong whey and send the correct flavour.

Appear caring, considerate, a seller worthy of 15% discount from ebay.

Time to start those baby steps.

Think of it as a customer.
Would you be happy to pay for an error the seller made.
I don't think so

This is what I do. I say something like "So so sorry, a total human error from a sleep deprived new dad!" (this makes me a real person rather than an ebay name haha!) "I will send another out today and please keep the other one for your own use or for a friend"

I got top rated seller in 3 months on my last account from things like that.

OP there does become a point where you need to start thinking for yourselves. Customer service skills are vital in the online marketplace as there is no face to face interaction.

Just use your brain on this - your mistake, your turn to sort for the buyer. Play this one wrong and expect a nice big fat neg.

Takes a bit of thinking this....

Not sure if the OP ha......

Vital to be able to handle the customer.

Well done for getting TRS.

Thanks. My rule of thumb is: what is more detrimental - losing a bit of profit or a bad rating. I nearly always go with the latter.

Simple situation - you made a mistake...take it back right away and let the positive refund come.

You want a repeat customer? Send a thank you gift for being understanding

Make it even simpler for you.

Send a fresh sample of the correct flavour, a few goodies & let them keep the other item.

What if that wrong flavoured whey is now in a damaged package? Cut it out of your business with out more fluffing around.

That's giving service.

Don't play hard ball if you made the mistake. Time to make things right.

Nope, you now have 5% towards fees reduction for ebay selling.

Re: wrong flavour whey

GB is saying that you are moving in the right direction to get the EB TRS fee reductions. Which is of course a good thing.
