Suspended ebay, Paypal OK, use other ebay
 

My Ebay account suspended due to low DSR, paypal is OK.
(have just unlinked ebay to paypal as was paying seller fees automatically).
Brother ebay account at same address is OK, can i use my paypl to accept payments on his account?
How do i unlink my paypal to my ebay account?

You unlink your paypal from your ebay by going to ..

my ebay summary > account > paypal account

Here you can delete that paypal account from that ebay.

Regarding linking then to another ebay account, I think that it will work but you will probably get found at some point. I'm sure that somebody will be along in a minute to confirm but you are risking both the paypal and the ebay being restricted at some point in the future, possibly with your money in it.

Have you unlinked your account as you owe ebay fees and don't wish to pay them now banned?

If so, bad idea.


your brothers account is already at rrisk of being banned by association due to sharing an address, name, ip and likely computer with you. Do not use it under any circumstances. Ebay are not stupid.

Time to learn stealth methods. Read around and buy the guide before you get yourself in to morebtrouble.

Cannot link a PP linked with a bad EB to a new EB. It will just get the new EB limited.

Need to start again.

That is not a working solution for the OP.

All that still stays linked on the ebay/paypal side.

A good paypal associated with a bad ebay should only be used off ebay.

I do not owe Ebay any money and have allows payed fees by automatic paypal deduction.

My brother has never sold anything on eBay so was just thinking of using his account to sell. Do they restrict solely because someone at the same address and using same internet/computer? (Even though its a different person?)

I was thinking of selling some sub £20 computer parts (for repair/spares only). When paypal gets restricted isn't it just a case of sending in document proving who you are?

Also If my brother opens a paypal using my new bank details will it work?

Or my sister at the same address who has never had a paypal /eBay using new bank details? (Its a different person so It should be OK?).

AND a NEW internet provider in few months as changing contract will change IP address so will it be easier to open stealth account.

A few years ago there was a man complaining that his business account had been shut down thanks to his sons personal account being shut down.

you never know you may be talking to him on here, as no matter what he said to ebay they would not reinstate his account.

I also recall another where a daughter was panicking after being kicked, as ebay kicked her parents account.

There are loads of cases where family members have been kicked thanks to another family members account.

ebay UK are really aggro about same names, same addresses being used.

If an account gets a manual review, suspension follows.

Avoid this method for your long term success.
