if a buyer clicks buy it now and does not pay for 4 days can i cancel his purchase and relist?

You can open a non paying buyer after a minimum of 2 days. Then your buyer has 4 days to respond. If he doesnt, you can close the case after 4 days and relist. Not before

I am pretty sure you can choose to open unpaid item cases automatically.

Yeah you can make them automatic.

But with buy it now can't you use the instant payment option or whatever it is called so that if they do not pay then there is no transaction

What you should also do is set your options better.

Set them so you are not left waiting.

The good thing about bin listings ur able to check off the box by payments where ur paypal email is, and click immediate payment

I know on US accounts u need to be listing your item not in the easy listing mode, the other and u need a paypal business account

But for BIN listings get immediate payment, one of the benefits of using these style to sell
