I got the following message a couple of days after attaching a natwest savers:

Your bank has let us know that you can’t use your bank account ending in xxxx to fund PayPal payments. If you already have a card linked to your PayPal account, we’ll use it to fund your future payments.

Can I still withdraw to this account or will I now need to attach a new one?

You can withdraw still it just means the account doesnt accept the DD mandate.

Does not having a DD mandate make the account high risk? Should I attach a current account when I start selling in volume or does it not make a difference?

I've not experienced not having the DD mandate in place drawing any extra scrutiny to make it higher risk.
