Using eBay & PayPal on your phone
 

Hi,

My laptops been running so slow recently & websites aren't loading properly.. Is it safe to sign in to your eBay and PayPal account using safari?

I know downloading the apps aren't safe so i don't intend to use them.

So would using my phone all the time to list items/manage orders/reply to emails etc instead of using my laptop be safe? I only have one stealth eBay account at the mo.

I've never logged in to my account on my phone so would that look suspicious to eBay & Paypal? I guess I'm just paranoid.

So long as there are no cookies from old eBay accounts it is fine

Bare in mind that because you have no cookies in place on the phone eBay/PayPal may need you to answer additional security questions. I would also old off on withdrawing until you have more cookies in place.

Thanks for the really quick reply. I don't think I'll risk it then. I worry too easily.

Firefox on my laptop is working fine so I might just use that.

Could you possibly help me on this question I posted? I've never used firefox with eBay before, only chrome. & that keeps crashing so I'm unable to use it. I only have one user account as I only have one stealth.

Does not always happen as I think I mentioned in PM I used a library recently and neither of them asked me anything. But when i switched one account a week earlier from firefox on windows to firefox on linux they both did it.

But if they do ebay will ask if you want to confirm by email or phone
Paypal will ask you to confirm by phone

They are both automated and both give you the four digits that you have to add on the page you are on.

And as you only have one account then there should be no problems.
