Cannot tether to my laptop
 

Hi,

I have a the one plan with three and have always managed to tether when outside using my tablet, wife's phone etc.

But tried to tether my laptop (windows8) and it connects but then says 'page not found' when connecting to a website.

Tried same website with my tablet and works fine. So something is blocking something somewhere.

Anyone have any ideas?

The Windows 8 wifi drivers are normally installed on the Windows 8 OS and basically that's the issue, all you need to do is download the correct driver for your wifi device and install, you may be able to roll back your driver if not just upgrade to a non Microsoft version.

Intel wifi link 5100 AGN driver

Just going around in circles on google.
