Your PayPal account has been restored.

Had an account limited this morning for receiving high value payments + £400 over a few days.

When I saw the list of things they wanted (List of 8 items to do) I did think the account was doomed.

Spent 2 hours getting what they wanted, scanning it all, confirming on the phone.

I added the final 2 tracking numbers they wanted (that still haven't even been collected by the courier)

And within 45 minutes they restored the account. Couldn't believe it. Good job PayPal

I've been waiting 35+ days for receiving limit to be lifted on other accounts. Not so good.

If you did everything they asked for there is no reason why they would keep your account limited :)

You would think so right....that's why this forum is here because they do exactly what they want.

As long you do what they ask for, upload right docs, keep your customers happy and dont do dodgy stuff you should be safe. Well, thats from my experience of course.
I had one account suspended so far (for a reason) and I've been trading since 2009. I do realise there are some unlucky peeps who had their account suspended for no reason but does it really happen that often?

I think the problem with eBay and Paypal is that a reason always exists, however a reason is rarely ever given.

First time I have ever heard Paypal restore access...I myself had supplied everything they asked for on numerous occasions but always came to a dead end. So I came to terms with Paypals new slogan "once limited, always limited".

I've had 10x more accounts restored than closed down.

And there is ALWAYS a reason. Whether you agree with that reason or it is a valid reason is another matter however.

Re: Your PayPal account has been restored.

The problem is, it is reason without responsibility as if you have to give no reason then you have no reason to care when hitting the kill button.

And then you have some form of "our staff do not make mistakes" network that defends any error made by ignoring any explanation by the victim.

So they end up with what we have now, where people are scared to lift their heads in case someone looks at it. And that goes for normal accounts as much as stealth accounts.

Hell of a system

You're totally wrong. Their is no "reason". They just hit you with limitation anytime it's PayPal.

If that's what you believe, then surely just give up with PayPal?

It's about adapting your dealings to suit yourself, and keep PP happy too.

If you believe limitations are random "because it's paypal and they like limiting accounts" then you'll not be able to do it.

Learn how to keep the computers (bots) at PP happy, how not to trigger an auto limitation, or a manual review that could result in a limitation, and you'll be a lot happier using PP.

Triggering the auto limitation...smart understanding
