Just got this message up!!
 

I have been linked to a previous account, my current account is in good standing just turned business (not stealth) and i have the following message, should i trust them and pay the outstanding it is quite a bit of money! Will they go back on their words???

No, I would call them up and convince them it is not yours. Odds are is that there is an underlying problem besides the balance.

Welcome to the forums OP - if the link is true, you are probably not going to go far by just paying off the fees. Learn stealth and make new unlinked accounts

What really happened before this message was i rang the T&S team to increase seller allowance and they immediately linked 2 previous accounts the very first one said i was restricted from selling and the last one i have an outstanding balance. I didn't deny them but they must have linked by IP name etc. I just played dumb

Anyway, they then said firstly -if you pay the full amount we will increase your limits on your current account, but we will have to suspend you for now - I don't really have a suspension in writing just keep getting the message i mentioned at first popping up when listing. They also cared to mention that we cannot guarantee it but it seems like we can do it but we don't know.

Best thing to do is pay the balance owed on your old account and then hope they keep their word.

IMO it is unlikely that they will but the balance needs paying none the less :thumb:

The last time ebay said, "Pay your balance and we will reinstate your account(while it is under an SSR review) I sent them 29K and got a one month suspension the next day and indefinitely suspended 30 days later. Keep in mind I was not late or anything like that.

Yea...20-30k monthly ebay fees. Good account...was anyways for a decade, lol

one month review by the SRS departments. Indefinitely suspended basically because ebay thought that account was a bully(owned to much of a particular market) and quite honestly, they were right.

Why? dont you use ebay?

High money making accounts that get flagged by ebay can still be suspended.

If ebay dislikes what they see, they suspended/
