Hi

For the last 3 weeks I have been getting this ERROR messge -

Error Message PayPal Postage is not available. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Every time I try and print a postage label off for an INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS I get that messege UK addresses are fine! visited the paypal forum and tried everything they suggest -

deleting cookies - didn't work

Tried different web browsers , firefox - IE - Didn't work

Checked the address and its valid and all in english with engish letters- didn't work

Tried creating a label from scratch -Didn't work

Contacted paypal 2 weeks ago and still aiting for a reply

It stop working roughly when I change from a pvt acc to a basic shop could this be the cause?
ebay and paypal accs all in great standing, this is driving me nuts as I have to que for ages on my lunch break and
some orders are getting sent late!

Sounds like a PayPal issue. They are having a lot recently .

Have a look into Drop and Go in the mean time

Ah yes I know this my loca branch is a small villiage and the owners refuse to do it and as I belive know nothing about this, nearest main branch is 20 miles away.

Go down the route of franking or PPI then, they cannot refuse that (although some will try to)

Drop and go is much much better for them than franking or PPI as they make a lot more on the % of the postage.

i get paypal postage not available sometimes if the foreign address has certain foreign letters like umlatts or umlouts polish russian stuff and french accents chinese etc or similar. I edit the address in the paypal postage take out the foreign looking letters and it usually works. then re edit the printed label with a biro.
I alos remove the return address on the printed label and put on another return address.
i also print to a pdf then print the lable from a pdf. pdfFil programmes allows you to edit pdf files.

note one advantage of paypal postage is that it hides the price
