Does being a eBay Premium Service seller help listings
 

So does eBay Premium Service help your listings rank higher in search results. It seems a ball ache to achieve eBay Premium Service but I think I could do it but I'll only be sticking my neck out if it's worth it?

Yes it helps for the reason you mentioned.

You also save 15% on sellers fees.

There are alot of hoops ebay make you jump through including 90 day returns from november ro january. So if someone buys your item on 2nd november they can return it on 25th january.

OK thanks for the info. Do I need to jump through all the hoops for every listing or just some of them. For example I know I can offer next day delivery on 90% of my items but not for the rest, would that stop my achieving eBay Premium Service account wide or is it item specific?

It is item specific. Just use it to your benefit where applicable.

OK great. One last question.

eBay say I'll need to offer "Fast and/or free delivery", that to me says I don't need to offer both, however all the sellers I have seen with Premium Service do offer both. Does it matter if I only offer a free delivery option or do I need to offer next day as well?

You need to offer both. Fast delivery means a guaranteed next day service such as royal mail special delivery. Not simply 1st class (which is usually next day delivery)
