Problem with Entropay!!
 

hi Guys.......

right, ive had a problem with entropay.... so need a solution.

basically, i need a VCC to verify my paypal account. However it seems you can only top up an entropay account via Visa cards, well at least they cannot accept maestro/switch as they have a problem reading issue numbers.... (dont ask why)

anyway i thought it might be worth creating a list of VCC providers, that we have used and can recommend that will work with either ebay or paypal.

Thoughts or follow ups welcome

Have you tried emailing or calling Entropay?

have you read the entropay site? You can now top up with bank account transfer

Thats what i thought but it seems you can only do it once you have a valid credit/debit card on file that youve used.

'You can now top up with bank account transfer' implies that there is an existing entropay account. This came directly from their site.

entropay also says they accept all major credit/debit cards. But this is
not accurate. I have sent an email to their cust.service for their up to date list of cards.

mangler they do accept maestro cards so try it if you already havent as i used a standard maestro card and it was rejected but then i used a gold maestro card and it worked so give it a try.

kolomty is correct. Got a reply from entropay.
the email says in part about accepted cards: Visa/Master debit or credit card, Delta or Visa Electron. Does not accept Solo Debit.
