Someone help a newb plzzz
 

Hey everyone,

hoping someone out there can offer some advice

Up until recently I was selling regularly on ebay and held my account for a good few years, unfortunley I had a family member pass away and neclected ebay when I logged back on I saw this message

Your selling account is restricted – D

You can no longer sell items on eBay

We want to let you know that you haven’t met the minimum requirements to sell on eBay and your seller level is Below Standard in the Global,UK program. As such, you won't be able to list and sell items on eBay anymore.
Selling standards are in place to ensure that sellers deliver a great customer experience to their buyers. They measure whether buyers were satisfied with your items and your customer service.
When you don’t meet the minimum requirements for selling, you're creating experiences that erode confidence and drive buyers away.
If you had any active listings, they've now been ended and any selling fees paid for those items will be credited to you.
If you've recently sold items that you still need to fulfill or post, please do so promptly. You'll still be able to see any recently sold items in My eBay, send and receive messages, and of course, buy items on eBay.
To see more details on why your seller level is Below Standard, go to your Seller Dashboard.

I had 6 negtives feedback due to not sending items etc although this message was send along time after, also 2 of my other accounts have not been banned but selling limted.

My account still shows Criteria Average rating Number of ratings
Item as described StarStarStarStarStar 64
Communication StarStarStarStarStar 64
Shipping time StarStarStarStarStar 60
Shipping and handling charges StarStarStarStarStar 59

My question is will this selling restriction lift after the 90 days and any outstanding fees have been paid? or is there nothing i can do?

Sorry for your loss.

eBay restrictions like this generally do not get overturned unfortunetly.

Not all is lost though, you can get back selling using stealth methods outlined in the stealth guide :thumb:

Seeing as my other accounts are not fully restircted can i just open new ebay accounts and start again?

or if you i used my girlfriends account would they clock on?

and also is there any point paying the £220 to the revoloution centre if my account is lost for ever?

Move on and buy 2 business accounts and learn from your mistakes

If you owe PayPal or eBay money you need to pay it.

Yes, every point in paying those fees, it will come back to haunt you otherwise.

Last time I owed eBay £500 I waited till PayPal released my funds and then paid them off

The reason for this was due to a family member passing away and was a one off.

So can i not just make new accounts and will my other acounts with selling limits be lifted after i started to sell on them regulary and efficiently?

You most likely will not be able to lift the limit on this account.
Even if you call & explain to them what the situation was.

The way eb looks at is....
You (In general) have caused someone a bad user experience giving ebay as a whole a bad name. Whether it be slow shipping, no communication, and so on.

To them the bigger picture is involved. When a buyer tells his friends he had a bad experience. He doesn't say "user1 takes for ever to ship" he says "ebay takes forever to ship"... they do not care what the circumstances are.

They do not care if you feed your family with your eb revenue, or if you're financing a car and need the cash. Unfortunately they don't.

You can make stealth accounts once you learn how to make and operate,them correctly and over time limits will be raised and paypal holds lifted
