10 listing restriction on new account
 

Hi there,

I recently followed the stealth guide and created a stealth account, it is restricted to only 10 listings a month at £650, is that normal and how do i increase it?

That is standard for a new account.

Sell to the limits and an increase will come in time.

If you need to sell more create more stealths :thumb:

Standard as James has said - just open more stealths, you get more items to sell and you spread risk at the same time

just a thought, i have made a stealth account using my girlfirends details. Therefore could i not send them a utility bill with her name and address on to lift restrictions or would that cause some red flags, baring in mind the account is still only 3-4 days old?

It means that your GF will never be able to use PayPal or eBay for herself in the future.

There are lots of downsides to using her details and no real benifits

I did realise this as soon as i'd made the account live, theres no way round this is there? Even if i closed the account?

Aslong as this stealth account stays live, then aslong as i change her IP address at her house then she should not have a problem?

Let me just get this right aswell ebay take your router IP address, or PC?

eBay and PayPal will now always have her details. No way around that.

eBay and all the comapnies they own will see your public IP.

Really need to spend a good few days reading the forum to understand stealth.

I know what your public IP address is and where to find it. I should be okay for now, but bearing back to the original question can i send off that info and increase restrictions?

All the infomation on the paperwork will need to match the infomation PayPal has to lift the EU limits.

The only information it wont match is the name on my bank account?

To lift EU limits the docs that need submitting are proof of address and photo ID.

These documents must match the infomation PayPal holds for the EU limits to be lifted.

Bank account has nothing to do with EU limits. You just need to make sure your bank account allows mismatching name withdrawals.

After all this i have completely misread what ebay asked for...

Turns out they want to send a letter to my girlfriends address with a confirmation PIN in which i then enter on the website.

I'm told that you should list 10 auctions to start and when they sell apparently you get a message from ebay saying you've been increased
I myself just created a stealth today and seems to be ok so far (touch wood)

Also having multiple stealth accounts is highly reccomended so that if you loose one your not hit with a heavy blow
I myself will be making around 4-5 more accounts tomorrow

Good man, i think i need to make some more accounts but in order to do so i need to open up some new bank accounts? how many bank accounts have you got?

I wouldn't take that as gospel, it is not a given that just because you have sold 10 items you will get a hefty increase or any whatsoever. Selling to your limits does give you a higher % chance, but it is not guaranteed.

Open up bank accounts slowly - for example, I have a bunch...double digits...used for variety of stealth pp's.
