Cause with the terrible English and spelling and grammar mistakes it looks an aweful lot like a phishing scam.

That is what they sent me , in my attempts to get an account I havent even used back after suspension .

If it is from paypal UK, why is the spelling American?

Recommend you sign into your paypal account from a safe computer.

Check status that way.

Just log into the eBay if you ever get a message like that to make sure it is from eBay.

Try listing something. Can you do it? Then your listing is not put on hold.

Log into your Ebay account. Click on Messages. Is the message there? Then it could be legit. If it is not in your Ebay messages, it is a phishing attempt and you should forward it to spoof@ebay.com

^^^ they would not ask that.

Just go check the ebay messages, any messages you get off them tends to show up in there.

And as far as I can recall they offer you the same option of sending in documents as paypal, allowing you to upload them if you prefer.

What does your status say?

I created this account, it got banned before I started. I know why it happened, has happened before, and completely slipped my mind before verifying this account.

I contacted them asking why this had happened seeing as i had not used the account.

The person on live chat said they would forward my problem and I would hear back with in 48 hours.

This is the message I received from them

personally I would just move on when that happens as I never had much luck getting through ebay checks on a new account like that. They seem much more inclined to hit the reject button.

But you never know if you have made up all the ID and stuff anyway then you may as well try it.
