Will I lose my sale?
 

Just had a strange email from another ebay buyer. This person alleges that they were scammed by a rogue seller. The seller who 'scammed' him, purchased something from me (not sure how they come about this info!).

Although it has nothing to do with me, per se, I'm getting worried that Paypal may demand the money back from me. I sent off the item yesterday, so it's too late to recall the item.

Should I be concerned?

Not a lot you can do now. Seems very strange IMO.

If the item was sent via recorded mail make sure you input the tracking details.

Well you didn't know beforehand so don't worry about it.

Do you have a tracking number? If you do than you are safe. If you don't than you lost it

What most likely happened is the guy who has been scammed purchased something for the scammer
I've heard of this before
DO NOT LET THIS ESCALATE.
depending on the cost of item try resolve it or just simply give a refund in the interest of keeping your account

There is no case against the OP so this is kind of off.

@OP, just because that seller bought something from you is unlikely to come back and haunt you.

Buyer likely contacted you because they saw exchange of feedback between you and that seller - if you left feedback
