Just tried to list an item, a pair of trainers, nothing special but get this messege once I review and confirm listing-


Call us at 0800-358-6552 and mention security code 35042532014. This isn't the same confirmation code to confirm your account.

If you use an IP Relay service, you can use the same number.


10 years of selling on ebay never seen this!!

Have you tried lisiting different items?

Seems like the best thing to do may be to give them a ring

Yes because of this I listed an old dvd just to see if I could and there was no problem, it listed fine. Strange.

No, they are not even branded, no vero etc

That is odd - perhaps the category had a flag on it...

I had this last month and rang them up and they did a quick security check and said it was all ok

If you get it again just give them a ring.

Should just be a formality.

Trainers are risky though, branded or not.

Happens mostly when you go to revise a listing and you login from an IP address that hasn't been used on that account before - it's a security check to make sure it's you.

Nah , its as simple as closing your browser and trying again , usually 3-4 times and it goes away.

but I guess not burning good work arounds is a problem too.

There's a post count post and there's a ****ing post count post.
What he dug up was a perfect example of next level internet tardedness.

Can you imagine phoning up your friend and brining up some random thought about something that happened 6 months ago?

If I'd call ANY of my mates up and say something like:
"Hey, remember that DIY project problem you had last year?"
"...Yeah........"
"Well, I know what you should have done..."
....
*I hang up the phone*

That friend would probably either never pick up the phone again when I call or next time he sees me, he'd say that I'm a nobhead.
