Paypal limitation/restriction
 

I have experience something on paypal and as the UK section is MUCH slower than the USA section I thought I would share with you.

First of all if paypal limit your account and ask you to provide them with I.D and invoices/ tracking numbers do so straight away even if you have not posted the items.

I waited two days until I had posted the items and then uploaded the information but in that time paypal actually restricted my account and now I cannot recieve ANY payments.

The best way to upload and get the information to paypal is upload it directly rather than fax (paypal advisor told me this) upload what you can when you can, start with your I.D and then your invoices and lastly the tracking numbers.

So did you have the paypal account set up in your own name? If not how did you get around the documents they asked you for?

Do paypal also limit account activity for transactions outside of ebay?

My e-bay accounts were suspended but I havent heard anything on paypals end.. Should I expect them to be closed down

most likely your paypal will fall soon as well .. im not sure about the UK, but here in the US, once eBay or Paypal goes, the vice-versa will soon follow

my e-bay accounts were suspended 2 weeks ago and the paypals are still fine.. would they send an e-mail or something? I am just wondering what is going on with them... And I live in the United States

They usually send an email followed by a phone call. If those Paypals dont get suspended/limited etc .. just remember not to use them with a new ebay account

Thanks Yaw!! I am not going to use them, I actually don't know what to do with them . E-bay is supposed to remove fees from them and hasn't yet. I quess I will just wait and see. there isn't much left in them, just enough to cover fees.I took most of the money out when e-bay suspended my accounts.. I just wish there was a way to contact e-bay, tell them to take the money for fees from my account and to ____ off!!! In a perfect world!! I wish they had more competition.. It kills me to sign up with them again, but I have tried other venues and they just don't carry the volume for sales e-bay does..

NO problem ..

Yeah until another company steps up to the plate to take on ebay, they'll continue to pull our strings .. at least with Aspkins site, we've learned to cut away a few "strings"

had ebay accs uspended and not reinstated months ago, paypals still running, and have done other non-ebay trade with them
