Linking new paypal
 

Hi, i have a good ebay, but my paypal account has been limited, If i remove the limited account from my ebay, and add a new one, will that then get limited? and will my ebay get limited? ive spent a long time building my ebay account up and dont really want to lose it as my website and ebay account are linked, and i dont particularly want to build up ebay and a new website all over again!

Removing the limited paypal does not work.

Attaching a new one does not either.

okay, well creating a stealth isnt a problem, the problem is verifying it and getting the limits lifted on paypal! as we are a business we sell a lot! and dont want another one getting shut down, so we need it water tight really!

i found this on here, and im thinking of going down this rout, does it seem bullet proof to you?

I've read 'auction stealth' and although it's a great ebook that gave me some good ideas, it does focus more on the US side of things.

Our current UK ebay account is running a long nicely. 3 years old, lots of feedback and high compliance status.

Our paypal is also nice and old.

But.. we want back ups incase everything goes tits up.

So MY PLAN...

Register a UK Ltd Company.
My partner and I will be the directors.
The address for company will be the accountants.
Skype telephone number with voicemail.

But... the problem I see here is that the the directors names are already
linked to ebay accounts. We both have account now and have had them
in the past (I have a few limited about 6 years ago).

So.. the solution.
We bring a friend on as Secretary/Treasurer.
Get company credit card in their name (we're still liable for debt obviously).
Open new ebay and paypal account in company's name but put down secretary/treasurers contact details incase we need proof of ID.
Credit card on file is in secretary/treasurers name. So it's clean of either mine or partners name.

It seem's pretty water tight.

But.. is it overkill? Do they really need to be treasurer? I was just thinking it meant that they'd be listed on the 'Memorandum of Association' documents which would make it super-easy and legit when coming to verify and limited accounts.

Would love some opinions on this.

I have plans to build 3 back up accounts like this so want to start on the correct path!

by the drectors names is it? as my name is red flagged, but i was planning on using an employee as a main contact!

it look like u would be linked by names in-case eBay or paypal did a company search your old names would come up surely
and whose address is the limited company at?

I think you are trying to jump back into the same sort of volume you are selling at the moment.

With a new eBay and PayPal you will need to start a lot slower.

Easy to buy but I didn't say easy to run as that needs 24 hours a day dedication :amen:

enjoy steve ;) and cheers guys, im planning to start slowly, and the address will be at the accountants! so if they do a company check they will link my name to the old company that was limited? how does buying an account work? i would have to change the address? i have the use of 5 addresses that all go to the same place! (somehow the industrial estate that my warehouse is in has 5 different post codes!) so would i just be able to buy one, and change the address?

problem is do the accountants have a paypal account and yes u can change a stealth address but why would you?:noidea:

i would need to change the address as a lot of customers like to pick up theyre orders, especially the bigger ones like engines! or could i just om them saying theyre stored in a seperate warehouse? and whats the risks with buying a business account? do they get shut down very often?

A returns account could be used for pickup I presume and business account shut down never and
they r only as good as the operator
