Anyone else finding sales are down for this time of year?
 

I'm nearly £100 a day down in sales compared to last year, I have been at least 30% up all year apart from the last 3 weeks. Is anyone else struggling with this or is it just me? This should be far and away my busiest time of year and I'm getting concerned and can't seem to find a reason for it.

This isn't really a general question. This is totally dependent on what you sell.

Sales are down but I wouldn't worry, the holiday rush will be coming soon and I just can't see eBay being slow even with whatever is going on with the traffic manipulation or whatever

Last year November was a little slow until after thanksgiving and than December 1st it was just crazy sales, if I'd had a million item limit, I'd of sold through that in just 10 days last December, so the rush is coming

I just find it odd that sales are up for me all year and then it drops off right when I expect to be busy. Fingers crossed it picks up.

Im free stable with my sales and very comparable to last year at this time.
But been hearing quite a few people reporting reduced sales so youre not alone.

Depends on the product but people dont usually start the holiday spending till early december, mine usually pick up a lot from early dec to 20th. Im sure yours will but sales are up and down on any product really. Fingers crossed yours will start flying on the shelves.

Sales are steady for me at the moment but it helps being the cheapest

I dropped the ball last year and did not have enough inventory for the holidays. This year I have 3x normal inv. and sales are basically not happening.

Sales are steady and will be up soon .. Xmas is coming..

start of october was a nightmare for me, starting to become steady now thankfully

So I started this post a year ago. One year on and my October was my best October ever and this month so far sales are nearly double what they where this time last year for me. I guess it really does depend on so many factors.
