If I reply from hotmail I click "reply" I rarely used the "respond now" button which takes you to the ebay messaging system to reply. Replying in hotmail allows me to reply even though I'm not actually logged into the ebay account.

Ok....there seems a bit of confusion. I still stand by not accessing two accounts from one device.
But now i understand you are referring to buying only account. Is this real details? The reason i ask is because... if you have previously sold on an account say and that got restricted, then ebay may still let you buy. So in theory, you could use your wifi if thats what you have previously done, if you are not suspended from buying. Keep it for buying only and use only that one device.....then use other devices for selling.

Yes I'm just going to designate a phone/ip for each account and not let them cross, even with email accounts. I might make a new account for buying with the new phone because of the mc006 I just recieved, I'm guessing that's like a first strike and no idea how long it sticks for before it's wiped. Thanx A lot for your input.

Yes...just dont let.anything cross.
Its a nightmare with mobile devices accessing the browser off a tiny screen. Roll on my laptop.
Oh, and dont use the app. You might know that already but just incase you dont, do not use it :-)

So I'm going to open a new buyer account instead I've decided, I want to buy a few things to get a bit if feedback up on it. Now when I pay, obviously I don't want to use my registers ppal account, instead can I just opt to pay with a family members debit card, one that hasn't been used in ebay before, because you can pay by card without logging in, the card is a family members and it's the same address as the one I have on file with ebay, but it's a different name and never been used on ebay before.

Hang around for more thoughts on this....but using familys info usually always turns into a.disaster.
Despite card being not used before and.different name.....same address.causes a link. As said hang fire for more thoughts on this but i would.work idependently.and.not.use past info or family members details.

For example I'm on the phone that is associated with account A but I accidentally log into the email account that is associated with account b on it, and reply to some eBay messages via hotmail, etc. Can this be linked back to account a? Since the ip I used to log into hotmail and reply to the messages of account b is associated with account a. I'm not logging into eBay, but I'm replying to eBay messages via hotmail. Hope that makes sense.
It can be so should avoid repeating this

You could use your VCC for purchases.
Is this buying account.your real address....or address you have access to?

Hi there. With regards to your replying to email from another ebay account through hotmail. I would seriously advise not to do it again. You dont know what information their beacons and cookies are collecting from you. They might actually be storing all activities you do on your device, even activities that are not related to ebay in order to establish some sort of connections.

In my own attempt to get back selling on ebay, I am gonna sell the previous laptop I have used with them. I am buying two new sets of laptops with two dongles just to start afresh.

You really dont need to buy new laptops
I dont use a pc presently to access, so.read the threads on forum about clearing.cookies etc
Then just create new user accounts for each account.
Selling your current laptop and.buying new ones really isnt necessary :-).
