Clickncollect-Argos Vs Free delivery

Of what benefit is Click and Collect to a seller that already offers Free delivery. Would buyers find it more appealing to click and collect in store when they could otherwise be couch potato awaiting the courier to deliver?

Are you thinking that a buyer is going to go out in bluidy nish weather to pick up a parcel?

EG, temperature is 11F in Birmingham and about the same darn sarf. Rain is expected later in the week too.

Wise buyers will be sat at home

;)

Had a few buyers who chose that option, most likely they know they are not going to be home and will combine the collect with their high street shopping.

Yeah its free to buyer but not free to seller, you just tell your courier to deliver to Argos. I think ebay stands to benefit more as they send more customers to Argos.. (Customers are likely to shop more in store when collection) Thats the dubs.

I had a chat with them when this first launched and they were encouraging sellers to use it. I would have love it if they ask Argos to pick the orders from my location for free and take to their store. Otherwise no benefit to me when I already offer FREE delivery.

I dont know how much additional sales it will bring to seller for asking buyers to go out and collect their order instead of me delivering them
