PAYG or PMonthly Dongles

Getting started and want to get my hand on some dongles. Do I need PAYG or Pay monthly dongles? I am looking to buy like 4.

Should I get them from store or used from places like ebay, Amazon?

No you need a 3G dongle that's just a Wifi dongle for adding wifi to a machine without a wireless unit built in.

it is 3G dongle right? 3G is not traditional wifi? wifi will share same IP, but 3G maybe not?

3G dongle can let your computer link to internet through 3G network(mobile) right?
