Default Tesco Bank rejected my withdrawals.

For some reason, was put on 72 hour withdrawals, did some, then today all got cancelled, bank has been removed from pp account and they tell me the withdrawals were cancelled for various reasons, so could be anything.

log in to pp, bank has been removed. when i go to add it, it tells me i need further verification if i want to use this bank account.

fuming,.

what to do?

cheers

Right i think what has happened is, as i documented yesterday in another thread, i refunded something via a bank transfer(echqque) by accident.

Payapl have gone to take that from my tesco account.

So, either it has been rejected due to the name issue, or that there was no money in the bank account , so tesco reject the withdrawal.

PP system then has wiped my bank account link from my pp account and cancelled all pending withdrawals.

which is annoying as had a lof of money on route via 72 hour window( annoying)

anyway, added new account, and linked etc, and done a withdraw, hope for best.

also refunded that chargeback case with account balance,

cheers

Yes, stevebills is right. Check out the forum as there have been threads regarding tesco not being a good choice for stealth.

I never really bothered with Tesco or Post Office accounts. These are no use for stealth

ok sorry guys, i suppose i used it becuase it one point people were saying it was pretty good option, oh well.

i think what might have happened is that when paypal sent the instruction to the tesco saver for the 'add funds to my paypal' - tesco probably automatically rejected it, becuase its a either

A) savings account

B) no money in the account.

Maybe you cannot add funds from a saver?

Therefore when that was rejected, paypal automatically removed the bank account from my paypal and cancelled all pending bank transfers to it.

since then i have added another account to the PP and it went ok, but still have the 72 hr window on withdrawals.

Won't use tesco again after this. Thanks for the heads up.

How long do these savers take to set up properly?

I only ask as i have one that is 3 days old.

I just went to transfer money out of the saver to a linked account of another bank and it didnt allow me. It said it couldnt complete the transaction.
