paypal online postage

hi guys, i pay and print for my postage using paypal.

there is a send by date on these labels once they are paid for and printed. what happens if you do not send the parcel within that timeframe?

in the passed, the parcels would still get delivred without problems, however recently i have had one parcel hit witha "revenue protection"

they stated i did not send the parcel within the timeframe so i had to pay £4.30 (RM small parcel signed for) again.

I state nothing happens, but if there was a postage adjustment they can return the package for insufficient funds and they have been doing this even if it is $0.01 in the city of my home office.

That short?!? OP - if you are hit with cost again, you should contact the Royal customer service and demand refund I would say since you did not use the label

Technically, with the USPS, you are supposed to mail packages the same day that is on the label. But they don't usually enforce it - it is up to the post office where you drop off your packages. Realize, however, that they COULD enforce it if they wanted to.

I have had labels with the date 3 weeks before and the PO accepted it. I print the just label and no cert of postage (saves on printing and the PO will type out a cert of postage ) I cut off the return address from the label just in case it doesn't get delivered and put on an accessible return address. Also after printing i press cancel and then print again this time to a pdf file. . Of course if you have a pdf file its possible to edit a pdf file with pdfFil programme. I was chatting to another ebayer in the PO queue and she told me she had to deliver another sale to same address and she simply re used a previous label with no problem. One advantage of paypal postage is that Price charged can be hidden from the buyer.

One day is crazy short time.
I see your issue with it.
