Ebay asking for vat no?

Now a days ebay is asking for vat no. I am not a vat register how can i tell the ebay that i am not registered for vat? Or do i must have to register my self with hmrc to continue working with ebay ?

Try spreading your sales through more accounts. This will reduce your total turnover per account, and therefore the threshold for VAT registration.
