IP is Changing by itself while im logged in....?
 

so im logged in stealth

I always have a 'web browser tab' showing my current IP when ive switched user etc and log it in excel

I havnt rebooted modem or anything, yet when I clicked refresh on my IP tracking webpage, my IP had completely changed....?

luckily when pasted into excel its a clean one, but how the hell can this happen, and im wondering now how many times its happened that I didn't know about......

are you using any vpn or proxy?

nope, never have

maybe connection probs, PC's in another room and I don't spend much time sat at it..... could modem be crashing/loosing connection?

how frequent does the ip change?

don't know at moment, this is first time im aware of it

far as I knew it Only changed when I rebooted the modem....

I'll keep a close eye on it (refresh webpage every hour or so) see if it changes again and post back here....

This is normal for some ISP to get new set of IPs upon rebooting the modem. So to prevent it from happening, you should reboot less.

no... the issue here is that it has changed without me rebooting/touching the Modem.....

so that would cause it to change by itself without a reboot...?

think its time to get a 'new dedicated device' on different network...
