Canceling ebay fees without paypal refund ?
 

Is it possible to cancel a eBay transaction and get ebay fees credited back without out a full paypal refund ?

I use to be able to do this last year but things have changed recently.

It's a problem for me because I can't refund the guy because I've transferred the money into my bank account and I've refunded him in person.

Its no way to operate on ebay, best practice to avoid these issues is keep the cash available in the account in case of these problems. I always will leave enough to refund in one account.

So paid by paypal but refunded cash?
If so, best never to do that again as you could face doing two refunds.

Yes you can cancel transaction. Ive done so in the past. They will send the request to the buyer and the email they get will ask them to agree or not agree to it....plus to make sure they have been refunded before they agree.
If you have refunded, then if they are an.honest buyer, then they will agree to it.

In future, paypal refunds must go through the correct paypal refund procedure to.avoid you putting yourself in a.situation whereby you could end up being forced to refund twice :-)
