How long for account to "cool down"?

Hi.

I had been successfully selling genuine signed photographs for 2 years when this week i received the dreaded MC999.

I wasn't NARU'd but advised not to continue to sell signed photographs any longer or would have been banned or had my account closed.

The account has just under 3000 positive feedback (100%), excellent DSR's, and ran expertly for 2 years. I'd never had a problem with anyone claiming I'd sold ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or anything like that. The only problems I ever had were with Royal Mail losing the odd delivery.

So now my question. Given that I sell high profile items, in an industry rife with forgeries, do I start again with another stealth account, or is this account recoverable? Do I just do nothing for a period of time? Let it cool down for 90 days? 6 months? A year?

Any help or advice is appreciated

Spread up your sales using multiple Stealth acccounts.
This is a way to go.

Tannedweekend is absolutely right, the items you were selling would be considered high risk by eBay/PayPal, as you said yourself the industry you were selling in is rife with forgeries. The only way forward for you is to start again completely, you need new accounts, and more than one, so you can sell different items in each one. You have come to the right place to learn about stealth accounts, how they are built, how to run them, and what the best low risk items are to list on them.

The stealth guide that can be bought through this forum is packed with tips for stealth accounts. There are also accounts for sale from the marketplace on this forum, they are ready made and come with the support of an account seller with a wealth of experience in operating these accounts. You can visit this forum regularly for the most up to date information as well.
