Hi,

I have purchased / read through the Ebay stealth guide and all seems pretty straightforward to set up (finger crossed) however I just wanted a few tips:

1) I have opened a Barclays Saver Account for Sort/acc number and the card doesn't display "visa", can I still use these details to confirm my paypal account?

2) Do I still need a VVC to verify as well as my Barclays card as want to withdraw funds?

Need to do more reading. Not quite got the info together to proceed with making your account.

Bank account verifies paypal.

VCCard confirms paypal.

The bank issued card is NEVER recommended. It fails the AVS.

You would have been better to have picked a basic account to use as a bank account.
Savers can have the DD rejected.

Please have a read, then ask more questions before you do anything further.

You can use the sort code and account number with barclays,
but you will not be able to use the actual card, as paypal will require the address to match on the paypal account.

You will also find that most savings accounts that come with a CARD don't have the CVV2 number on the back of the card (3 digit number)

You can use savings accounts on paypal, but the direct debit will fail, like GreenBean says, you will still be able to use it to withdraw to.
You will just get an email from paypal in a few days saying ' Your bank has let us know you cannot use this account'
