Can I have a second currency?

I went to the branchs NatWest and Lloyds and was told that I can't have the EURO currency by receving and sending as a personal account.

I have thousands EUROs in my PAYPAL account and would not like to change to GBP.

So do you know which UK banks allow us to have the EURO currency?

Open a UK bank account that is in GBP (sterling) once that is done open a EUR currency account
