Upgrade to business - whats the threshold?
 

Is there a rough monthly £££ limit or sales volume or total which triggers the forced upgrade? Is there a rought value or amount of product sold per month to stay under?

If you buy items to re sell or make items to sell for profit you should upgrade to a business account.

In the past I have found if I Max my limits (100 monthly) then I receive a message from eBay saying I should consider upgrading to a business's account.

If you are a genuine business you really should have a business account. You have certain legal obligations you should meet that you don't as a private seller,

If i wanted to read that again i would of went on ebay.

Now, does anyone know from experience at what point ebay start asking for this usually?

ebay co uk made the suggestion of doing a business upgrade on an account of mine that had sold 770 quid of items ( in less than 7 weeks)

Has anyone ever had a letter from the tax man when opening a business account? obv doesn't apply to stealth
