Does ebay require a signature for proof of delivery or just a tracking number?

It depends on the value of the goods in theory.

In reality you want to get a sig on delivery when ever its possible if you want to win any cases.

A signature is needed for seller protection if the goods are worth more than £750.

Tracking that shows delivery is good enough to win any item not received case. I believe the tracking has to show the postcode or city.

Thanks smile, I remember now seeing that £750 somewhere on ebay, my items on average go for between £5.00 and £30.00 each

Parcel2go tracking only shows the postcode on the tracking page

The thing is though, I have to log into my parcel2go account to see the full tracking info ie postcode...if I was to send you the link to input the tracking number it doesn't show the postcode,only the progress of the parcel, you have to be logged in, even to see the signature. So how would that work out? Would ebay ever accept a screenshot ? Now I could go to the source and enter the parcel number into Hermes tracking, but it doesn't show the postcode or town
