Can I just use a bank account with paypal
 

Simple question folks. I want to set up a new paypal account. Can I just set one up with just a bank account and sort code. Not having to give credit/debit card?

You need a VCC to confirm your details in paypal marion, take a look in this forum's marketplace for them, when you add your bank account that verifies the account details. You do not add a real bank issued credit card as this wold not pass the avs check. Have you set up any stealth accounts before? Is this paypal for use on another platform as well, you have not mentioned an ebay account.

I have done a PP account in the UK with JUST a bank account for verification. I don't use it for buying so...that does work. Limits of receiving and sending money would still not be maxxed however (since you don't have the cc attached)
