Question about stealth email & paypal DOB
 

hi guys,

I've read the stealth guide fully and I have a quick question about the date of birth for my stealth email.

Is there any harm in having my actual DOB for the email address and my paypal if the address is different and I'm going by my nickname + last name?

I want to be able to provide paypal my actual ID should they seize funds and request to see my papers.

Everything else will be new (phone number, ebay account, IP, bank account etc).

If you use your real DOB and then try to use a nickname along with your real surname it would be easy for PayPal to link you.

Your going to need to be fully stealth to prevent linking :thumb:

You can use whatever DOB you want for the email, but for the sake of simplicity I would have it the same as the PayPal

I personally give my email address a name that is different then my real name, dont take chances, email is one area where they can get ya!

Sounds like you might need to read the guide again!, and read around this forum a lot more. You cannot realistically expect to pass account linking efforts by ebay/PayPal if you use ANY of your old real details. Date of birth is one of the commonest used methods of proving ID even now in the 21st century, so you could hardly have picked a worse thing that you wanted to keep in your real original details. Everyone on here will tell you this is really really unwise, you do not want to use any of your old details like this.

THanks for the help guys.

Just the one thing confusing me about the guide was it says you give a alias and a different DOB.. But what happens if paypal asks me to prove my identity? Is that game over for that account?

I was thinking with a nickname + same DOB proving my identity would at least be reasonably easy especially if the address is different.

I will definitely use a different DOB now, just obviously my concern was proving my identity if anything bad like an id check happens.

I have been in the same boat as you, believe me. When I first started with the stealth and this forum I used to come up with all sorts of "theories" of how to do things and trying to figure out a better and safer way of doing things.
For 2 weeks solid I was just thinking, thinking and bounciing ideas off this forum.
Conclusion?
Don't over complicate things and don't try to reinvent the wheel. I mean... Just keep it so simple that even your little relatives would understand the principles behind it.

One simple rule:
Different EVERYTHING
It's not THAT difficuly to come up with your favourite dates and favourite book charcters, mix it with the writer of the book and you will have your DOB and alias.
When it comes to lifting limits... Well, just find a service in this forum and pay somebody. It's a cost of doing business.

New name, new address, new number, new ip, new DOB, new bank, new VCC, new username and new email... new and different EVERYTHING.
