| xShevaa7x | 02-23-2015 10:19 PM | Missing withdrawal I withdrew some money from a stealth Paypal account, and it shows as complete in Paypal, but nothing has showed in my bank account. It has always been instant. I have just withdrawn a small amount to test it, which showed up in my account instantly as per usual, however the original withdrawal is no where to be seen.
Has this happened to anyone else? |
Re: Missing withdrawal I've never heard of instant paypal withdrawls? Always takes 2-3 days to appear in my bank for me, so just give it a few days |

Has this happened to anyone else? | Should still be traceable, either party (PayPal / Bank) will be able to see it appear or having left the account.
Technology isn't always reliable but money doesn't go missing. |
| xShevaa7x | 02-24-2015 11:15 AM | Re: Missing withdrawal Still no money shown, sent a message to Paypal, but I will just wait and see what happens. |
| Dawidck | 02-24-2015 11:27 AM | Re: Missing withdrawal Instant withdrawals takes no longer than 5 minuts in my case :)
I dont think you should worry thou |
| xShevaa7x | 02-24-2015 12:04 PM | Re: Missing withdrawal Usually I wouldn't worry, but it looks like my usual situation is different from many people here.
Withdrawals from Paypal to my bank are always instant, and after withdrawing this "Missing" payment I withdrew a small amount to test it, and sure enough it showed up instantly. It also shows as "completed" on Paypal, but it's not in my account.
I was just posting if anyone else had experienced this. |

| comp07974 | 02-24-2015 05:05 PM | Re: Missing withdrawal Any news at all, I would suspect it was a problem at the bank end and not paypal |
| xShevaa7x | 02-24-2015 06:25 PM | Re: Missing withdrawal Nothing yet. I will wait until Monday and then i'm not sure to be honest. The amount was sub £100, and i'm not looking to risk a good account for that amount, but it is worrying that this can happen.
I withdrew money from the Paypal again today and it appeared in my bank instantly at usual. Really weird... |
| Bunneh | 02-24-2015 06:38 PM | Re: Missing withdrawal Perhaps your screen said 2 hours to withdraw but actually you received a 72 hour withdrawal?
but if your bank rejects/ reverses the payment you received it will take a few days to show back onto paypal. |

Re: Missing withdrawal 3 days...still well within the timeframe |
| wired | 02-27-2015 03:54 AM | Re: Missing withdrawal Which is what we originally said by many, 2 hour (which is normally instant) withdrawal, changed to 72 hours ad the OP didnt notice.
Problem solved about three days ago lol |

Problem solved about three days ago lol | Actually it was completely different, and wasn't said by anyone. It said 2 hours, as did the email, but they for some reason sent it as an e-cheque. The transaction also said "Completed" when it should say processing, that was the problem. If it said processing I wouldn't have thought anything different, but it said completed, which it shouldn't say if it hasn't, especially if it was sent by e-cheque.
The other thing that is weird is that an e-cheque usually take a lot longer than 2-3 days, but my bank statement says it was sent via e-cheque (Bank Giro Credit). | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:47 PM. | |
