TSB / mismatched name

Will tsb accept the DD mandate/withdrawals if the first name & surname is present but only the initial is used for the middle name?

I can only speak for my own experience and I had no problem using completely different name alltogether. I'm sure you will be fine.
BUT, and it's a HUGE but:
After I started using other banks I can say that Lloyds and TSB are one of the worst. Based on the experiences shared on this board and my own somewhat mixed experiences I strongly suggest you change the bank ASAP and try to avoid both Lloyds and TSB.
Halifax seems to be the best, so easy to open and so easy to navigate through the accounts and different options that they offer.

If I had to bet my money on it, I'd say you'll be fine.

Agreed, if you are using a completely different name to what is actually on your bank account then i would stay away from LLoyds & TSB.

Halifax, Natwest & RBS are great banks to use.

Just to confirm, if your first name & surname on PP is the same as that on a non stealth friendly bank account you'll be fine?

The account in question is a tsb savers account, am I right in still thinking the following: add account to PP, dd will be rejected shortly afterwards but you can still withdraw as normal?

I ask because I've noticed users talking about KICKBACKS & NOT CORRECTLY adding accounts, has something changed for savers?

If your paypal name matches the name that is on your bank account it is fine.

Paypal will not see the address etc.. you have with that registered bank.

Yes that is what happens,
Because savings accounts do not accept the DD mandate so you will receive a email in a few days from paypal saying
' your bank has let us know you cannot use this account'
But you will still be able to withdraw to it.

TSB are good for mismatch names. Steer clear of Lloyds bank though

Like bun said too, Halifax is great - a favourite of mine.
