funding pp account via a bank account? [unique story please read]
 

Hi guys and girls,

Looking to get some of your opinions on this. As i am well aware, funding the stealth account from your actual bank account is sure to reveal your name and limit your account..

My stealth account is set up under my mothers name and uses a completely new address.

Her bank account has never been used on a paypal account before either.

My question is:

Can i also add her bank account to my PP account and fund it via her bank account if needs be (should i need to refund somebody for example) and withdraw funds to my personal account?

you can fund your account using a VCC (such as entropay, all you have to do is top the card up when you need to refund someone etc) or your paypal balance. When you recieve a payment from a buyer it goes into your paypal balance what i do is not withdraw that amount until the buyer is happy with the item. When withdrawing to bank account I would always leave some money in the balance to cover refunds etc too.

funding your paypal using a bank account (echeques, etc) may be detrimental for you due to mismatch names and so on. This isnt a problem with some banks however this may not always be the case.

Your own bank account verifies your paypal account, the VCC such as Entropay confirms it. Paypal does not get to see your bank account details so you have no reason to not link it to your Paypal, you need to have bank linked to receive your funds into from your sales. Leave enough money in your PayPal to cover occasional refunds and fees when they become due.

Make sure your bank account is ok with mismatched names, which means avoiding Lloyds and Tsb.

Well why not just make a stealth in her name. But different state,city phone etc

Then it wouldnt be stealth...if using a real name.
Im assuming OP is male, is she prepared to answer questions on the phone and lie about address etc....My BF knows what i do but IF i had an account in his name, he woukd refuse point blank.
Using others info is never advised. Really not necessary

Again, im assuming your male. Is she.prepared to call in if needed.
It is so easy to set up an accoubt with compketely new.details. There really is no need to use other peoples.

I was under the impression that adding balance to PayPal via a vcc wasn't possible?? 😳 Has something changed?

Just to confirm guys/girls yes my mother is totally fine calling PayPal if they ask for anything. She's also cool letting me provide her ID etc.

Can anyone shed some light on whether adding her bank account to fund the PayPal is possible?

Also, vcc for adding funds?? I've read so much saying that you cant

I would not do that even if she is cool with it. those methods are expired. you don't want anything coming back to her in the form of taxes YIKES
