First account 0/0 sell limit.. Damn.
 

Hi Guys,

So I'd set up an ebay stealth and immediately got slapped with a 0/0 sell limit.

After calling in I've been asked to submit proof of ID & Address. Technically submitting ID will be fine as this is basically my mothers account BUT address will be more tricky.. they said a utility bill will be fine tho?

Is this account a write off? Can I use the same stealth paypal account I've created again? If not does this mean I'll also need a new bank & new phone number?

As always, advice is appreciated. :cheer:

EDIT: I believe the reason for this is because I've used an address that's already linked to another paypal account :(

Linking new accounts to any old accounts details always causes the new one to be linked to the old banned info, so now your mothers account is toast. Using that old address was the worst thing you could have done.

Yes you do need a new bank and phone number, avoid Lloyds who are known these days to not like mismatching names. You need to read around this forum and about the correct way to set up your accounts, you should have more than one as well in case you lose another one and then you will not lose everything at once.

Ahh rats :( Everything was fresh except for that one damn address (which was a mates address who already has his own paypal..). Rosie do you have any tips on conjuring addresses? :shhh:

Well you can create an address yourself, there are of course option for purchasing your account/s from this forum if you decide to do that, that was the option I chose and I can highly recommend it, because of course someone one else has the job of creating that stealth profile and everything that goes with it for you, and you then get the support of a knowledgeable account seller afterwards as well.

so to confirm, they can't detect when and address is blatantly ⊗⊗⊗⊗/made up? Am I better off picking a random one out the phone book? :lol:

You will at some point need follow up docs to upload to paypal to prove the name and address are in their eyes right, usually this would be at the EU limit of around £1900 here in the UK, they will start asking for that before you get to that point. That's why I said you may want to look at how you buy a ready made account that would come with ready made ID docs as well. You really need to read around this forum to learn the correct stealth procedures, how slow you should sell in the beginning, and when to start listing and selling more items.

They can see if an address it totally made up.

Update: So after calling up, the guy needed ID, however no means of providing ID has been given to me.

On the ebay chat, an agent was confused because she said there was no limit on my account..

I'm going to call in AGAIN to try and sort this..:pop2:

i had this on a account, quick call, they asked what i wanted to sell and i told them, gave me a 10 or 20 selling limit and a few days later it was increased again.

not for me, they've gone hard on this account.

They want ID, proof of address AND receipts for the things im trying to sell.. which is a used DVD :/

From what I have read any type of DVD new or used falls in the high risk 'no likey' category with EB, especialy as a first item to sell.

You should try a book, used unbranded clothes, things around the house and keep away from electronics including DVDs or other branded items
