Buyer leaving 12 negatives by mistake!

Rather frustratingly i sold a few items to the same buyer and he left me a load of negs by mistake.

As i understand it i am only allowed 5 feedback requests per calender year.

The buyer has said he will rectify the errors no problem but doesnt know how to go about it.

How would i go about getting him to do so.

Will he have to contact ebay?

Any help is appreciated

By mistake? usually Ebay ask you to confirm before leaving a negative with an 'are you sure message'

But the only way i see out of this is, the buyer needs to contact ebay and tell them they left these feedbacks by mistake. It wont help if you contact ebay, only the buyer can.

Yea I would suggest trying to get buyer to contact ebay but sounds like it might be someone that is being a jerk either way that many feedbacks to the neg would surly sink most accounts they are reviewed on the 20th of each month as far as I know Good chance it will be limited unless it is a old strong account that can take that much of a hit . If buyer cant wont fix I would probably hit the report buyer button put in the message buyer has stated in messages this was by mistake and he would fix it . I hate to hear stories like that as I have been done pretty much same way buyer says send revision I did then he refused it I contacted ebay they did nothing . but that's eb to the rescue.

Good luck mate let me know the outcome ..

That's crazy, was the Comment a Positive comment??

It's hard but possible I guess to mess up once and leave a negative, as mentioned a message comes up and makes you confirm you really want to leave the negative or neutral

But to do this 12 times, I don't know.

Was he upset about anything , possibly something misunderstood and left the negatives and than things were cleared up and went with it was an accident.

Regardless, ask the buyer to call eBay, hopefully the comments and DSRs are all positive and they get an understanding rep that changes them

Was this all from One transaction??

If it's from one sale with multiple items it counts as one negative feedback.

Re: Buyer leaving 12 negatives by mistake!

The Negatives will all show, but I think in factoring the percentage it may only count as one because it is from the same buyer within a 7 day period

I know this is how they count Positives, not sure about the negatives , probably the same

And each transaction can only have One Defect, so if these were 12 Negatives from One transaction it's one Defect, but if it's 12 separate transactions , which I doubt, than it would be 12 Defects

Go on live chat, selecting feedback as the option.

If they negatives are of a positive nature, they will automatically change them.

DON'T waste your revisions, as you won't be able to get them all revised anyway.

Tell the buyer to open a request for not received item.

You add the tracking number to the request

Then ask the buyer to contact eBay in that request.

eBay will review and see the item was delivered, they will release your money and all feedback of that transaction will be removed automatically :)

Buyer is contacting ebay this lunchtime. Hes very apologetic.

At 1st i thought it was a competitor, but they were all positive comments.

Dont drink and leave feedback I guess ?!?!

1. Contact your buyer and communicate.

2. You can only leave 1 feedback per week for a person so 12 at one time looks bad but counts only as 1

Maybe just someone elderly or completely computer illiterate, just strange that they left 12 negatives and did not once hesitate to confirm the negatives all 12 times

Did they leave any DSR Rating?
