Current receiving limit UK
 

With the current strong £ v the euro, the receiving limit has reduced by a large amount.

Does anyone know the exact £ figure it is at the minute.

I know it's 2500 euro so i'm guessing it's around £1800 now, i seem to recall seeing £1700 and something though before.

It varies from day to day.

Its hovers around the £1820ish mark

Cheers James. I don't suppose you know a way to view how much is left do you, crucially AFTER electronic check has failed and only option is doc upload?

I've uploaded and waiting but just don't want it getting "limited" after going over.

Do you not have the 'view limits' button on the bottom left of the page?

When the docs have been requested, the view limit button goes to the doc upload bit, I had to work it out by using ebay and the sales function. Then the euro dropped again overnight and i didnt have time to pull out a few quid before it went over! So now I am at the mercy of the docs...and however long they take to review them :)

If you have already reached the limits, it normally only takes 3 or 4 days to look at them.

When you havent reached the 'hard' limit, they take up to 30 days.

Won't help the OP, once you've gone through the confirm information part, the amount disappears

The lowest I've seen it at recently was £1780.

I think the only way to do this would be to view all your history, manually add up what's been received and then keep under say £1750 to be on the safe side.

Yeah, that's what I've seen for past couple of weeks now. I haven't checked it this week, but last week it was £1780 for sure.

Also, once this limit is lifted, is there any other numbers that they look into or is that the last limi? Do they have some sort of "hidden" receiving limits that they keep an eye on like £20-50k or something of that sorts?

They will always do a merchant identity review at some point if you start taking a lot of money, slow and steady wins the race.

They will ask for documents and invoices if your monetary value being received is high enough.
