Pictures on ipad
 

Hi all,

A quick question I have been using my ipad to rake pictures for 2 different ebay accounts, both have been suspended. If I use a new account with new items on but the pictures will be taken from the same ipad will they know this...

Also if I take pics on my iPhone, email them to myself then upload them on eBay will this be safe, ac I will be using my ipad to list them with.

Sorry if this sounds confusing

Just make sure you remove the EXIF data and your are fine :thumb:

Batchpurfier works well to removed EXIF data

Quite a few programs work but Batchpurifier is stellar :)

If you've got a PC you can just take a screenshot and save it as a PNG file which won't keep any Exif data

There is enough free software out there to remove data if you google it, my own preference is jStrip for windows but there are a lot available.

Hi all, I have used the App Store on my ipad and got EXIF editor, once I click on a pic it asks me if I want to remove tags...... I said yes and saved, I then got a new picture, I assume this is now ok to use on ebay. Couldn't use batchpurifer on my ipad ad after download it said I did not have the correct app

Click on properties first and see what it shows, i have seen a few programs ask the same question only to find they removed very little.

Interesting comments about using iPad to take pics and then using exif editor app to remove microdata from those pics, and how batch purifier may not work as successfully to do the same job on a batch of pics. Good point from isitworththestress as well about checking properties in those cleaner apps to check how much microdata they can actually remove on the iPad.
