Hi all.

I just wanted to ask a question regarding getting a pay as you go sim card. If I request one from my provider, surely the number will be linked to my name and address with the network. Can this be seen by ebay/paypal?

No eBay and PayPal cannot see that in the UK

No they can't see that as far as I know.

You can pick one up from Tesco etc for 99p, usually on the checkout counter.

Name and address on a sim card is indeed difficult to find - hence the preferred stealth use...

I got a Vodaphone one from Tesco 2 weeks ago, it was 99p. I used it to verify a stealth Amazon and it was fine, no top up required and the code was text through to it without an issue. :)

No you are safe, it would be a doomed world if all business happily shared data on their customers... I dont think they would have customers for long!

Tesco is fine...also possible to pick them up even cheaper on Amazon most of the time.

You can order Vodafone SIMs for free on their website. It limits you to around 10 at a time though
