Default DSR's

Been on a knife edge since September when I was suddenly hit with a 6.9% defect rate. Slowly had the number of items allowed reduced from unlimited to 20. Struggling to get the percentage down but as of now it is 4.99%, just in to the "above average" Managed to get rid of the vast majority of my stock. Asked for an increase in items but refused. Oddly enough they gave me power seller status ! Been talking privately to one of the forum members. Advised I post a question here. With an allowance of only 20 per month it's going to take a while to get the percentage down to a safe level so I'm reluctant to go heavy on buying stock. Considered the option of buying very low priced goods and selling at cost until the percentage is down enough. Any alternative suggestions?

Not after facts and figures but what caused the defect rate spike?

Feedback was good.( Only 1 neg. out of over 700) All down to opened cases. Bad batch of mechanical goods going wrong. All refunded without quibble. Stopped selling when realised seriousness of situation. Changed product. Not a single complaint since. As a matter of interest, are these cases cancelled out after 1 year?

Just got a stock of 50p items in. Had to wait for jiffy bags. Should be loading on today. But can't put too many on until limits raised.

1. Begin building other accounts
2. Let this accound ONLY sell these low items while your ratio goes up then get in your regular sales

Few steps to consider

All very good advice, thank you. Seems most of my troubles occurred in July and August last year. Not sure if it the case, but are these negated after a year? If so I will be well in the clear in about 3 months.
