Adding a bank account on phone

I've read several posts from users claiming it's possible to add a bank account on paypal's automated phone service.

Is it possible and if so some basic instructions please.

Ring them.

Say add bank account

Follow the instructions.

Why would you need to do this though? Easier to just add it online.
