Lucifer | 05-09-2015 01:27 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online if you already have current acc and online access,it ll be easy for you to open savings acc.those works well with pp. |
unbakedmonkey | 05-09-2015 02:05 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online Hi but does a savers account require the funds coming from your name. Ie your stealth account name would need to be same as the savers account. Unlike a current account to my knowledge when withdrawing funds. |
JamesNorth101 | 05-09-2015 02:14 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online Savers accounts are fine for mismatching name deposits. |
Bunneh | 05-09-2015 03:20 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online Only add the account 48 hours after you create the bank account to avoid any glitches. As it happens a lot. |
richie2065 | 05-09-2015 07:10 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online The Halifax online saver will do the business - only trouble is you have to close it in branch if the stealth account fails |

Ebayorbust | 05-10-2015 04:03 AM | Re: Halifax accounts online They were Online Savers that I closed online. This was about 4 months ago. Balances were transferred to others Halifax accounts before closure. |
Imakemoney | 05-10-2015 04:22 AM | Re: Halifax accounts online Haliax Savers can be closed online...however sometimes I've found you have to wait like 3-4 months until it lets you close them.
Not sure why... may be a glitch?! I get this probably a 3rd of the time with their online savers. |

Everyday savers you battle to close online. | I'm struggling to close mine down online - is there a live chat bit that I cannot find, like with RBS and natwest? Or do I close them down another way?
Thanks |

Also as you are already with Halifax, they are super easy in terms of online account openings. Superb service |
Re: Halifax accounts online All banks I deal with here in North Am need you to come in and sign document to close an account - I would not expect it differently in the UK...just fyi from my experience |
Imakemoney | 05-22-2015 05:30 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online rsot things are very different in the UK, more and more banks now allow you to close online.
With both Natwest and Halifax you can close savers online. |

HSBC you have to go into branch (at least as of 3 months ago), but Smile, Halifax, Natwest and a few others you can close over the phone or online. |

peghmeypong | 05-23-2015 03:29 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online You can close HSBC savers through sending a secure message in online banking. Takes 3-5 days. |
nerukas | 05-27-2015 01:40 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online Halifax and Lloyds are the same bank. Once I opened Halifax and it was automatically added to my PayPal without no of my action! |
JamesNorth101 | 05-27-2015 03:00 PM | Re: Halifax accounts online No way your Halifax bank account would be automatically added to PayPal without you doing so. Not a chance that can happen.
Lloyds, Halifax and Bank Of Scotland are part of the same group. Only real issues have been had with Lloyds though |
